About the Spanish Lung Cancer Group (GECP)

The GECP is an independent clinical research group whose objective, since its establishment in 1991, has been to promote the study and research of lung cancer.

The group comprises more than 730 specialists—including oncologists, thoracic surgeons, radiation oncologists, and basic science researchers—and brings together 198 public and private centers across Spain.

Nearly 70,000 patients have participated in the Group’s various studies and clinical trials, and the findings have been presented at national and international medical conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals.
