The journal encourages multidisciplinary collaboration among medical centers, researchers, and healthcare professionals to address the challenges of diagnosis, treatment, and prevention based on evidence.
Mission
The new scientific journal of the Spanish Lung Cancer Group (GECP) is born with a clear purpose: to showcase and give visibility to the valuable work carried out by professionals involved in the treatment and research of lung cancer, especially those associated with the GECP, by providing a publication platform for studies, clinical cases, reflections, or reviews of undeniable medical or scientific relevance.
Our mission is to become a reference platform in the field of lung cancer, fostering collaboration across specialties, the development of innovative clinical protocols, and the promotion of research lines aligned with the real needs of patients.
Through this journal, we aim to contribute to more effective, humane, and evidence-based clinical care, while ensuring that the knowledge generated among GECP members achieves greater dissemination, practical impact, and continuity.
Vision
To establish ourselves as an essential channel for the advancement of translational research and precision medicine in lung cancer. We aspire to raise awareness of the social impact of this disease, strengthen strategies for prevention and early detection, and support the transformation of clinical practice through the continuous publication of updated scientific knowledge.
